Libre Office was looking for a mascot to communicate better with their users. We took up this opportunity and designed a concept using a rockhopper penguin as our inspiration.

Process

After a long road of sketching rockhoppers, we finally stumbled upon Rocky. Somehow Rocky brought along the image of a naughty little penguin making work day fun. We worked on the concept more and Rocky fit the bill. We customized this mascot to fit Libre Cal, Impress, Writer using fun elements and then moved on to creating marketing collateral and gifts too.
